Bridgeport interact 1 MKII, parting out value

I have for all intents and purposes a new( run off hours only) 1988? Machine, I'm stripping it down of all the CNC controls and servos and retrofitting the machine with Mach motion controller. I Guess I'm wanting an idea as to values of the parts and whether to sell everything as one group or break it up, thoughts please

Re: Bridgeport interact 1 MKII, parting out value

the maximum value would probably be just running the machine as it is. There are a bunch of thieves on ebay who list stuff at high prices, but rarely sell anything.

probably selling the pieces, as there is no way I am paying thousands for a set of stuff, but if I need a servo motor, a few hundred is nothing, so do the math, a few hundred per piece servos, amps a bit more for the control box and a few other pieces, and you get a couple grand

So after that, if you sold a mint interact you could get X thousand for it. An Interact with an aftermarket control of dubious heritage is X grand minus 2 grand, so you are right back where you started

If you need to run big CAM files, you probably don't have a choice, but the heidenhain is the better control
