The answer is both easy and complicated. The DSLS3000 controller uses the spare inputs on it's parallel port for the error signals from the drivers, so there are no spare inputs available. Mach3 is not restricted to a single parallel port, but your computer probably does not have a second, so one needs a PCI card to provide one. IF that can be made available then you have access to home and limit switches and all the rest of the extras that the single parallel port can't provide.
