Hi guys I'm new to the laser section on cnczone.

I have a question about the Redsail X700 50w I'm looking to buy one there price is great and I only would use the laser to cut veneer inlay (wood veneer from 0.03125 to 0.0625 thick) and to engrave wood blocks with names...

Redsail users you guys think the machine is good enough for this kind of work?

Hello rockingchris, I think laser cutting machine is suitable for your requirement. but before purchasing, be sure to ask them the following very important questions:
1) How long have you been in business?
2) Has the machine been tested and run in their facility?
3) Do they provide training?
4) Do they provide customer support?
5) Do they inventory spare parts?
6) Where was the operator manual written?
If they don’t provide or can’t answer all of these questions to your satisfaction I would start looking for a new supplier. As I said in my opening statement, the Chinese do build an excellent, reliable laser machine and if your machine supplier can answer these six questions positively, then you will have many happy and satisfying years with your laser machine.
