    Lower head alignment

So im relatively new to the whole WEDM side of machining. Ive been able to stumble my way through quite a few things but this one i cant seem to find answer for.

I run a sodick ag600l wedm and i need to realign the lower head But i dont believe my company has the proper gauge ring to get the task done(nowhere close to the table even with head dropped all the way to stop). So is there anyway good way to realign the head without the ring or am i just sol?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Also any other advice from you wedm vets would be amazing aswell seeing as i am still just a greenhorn and am always willing to learn.

    Re: Lower head alignment

The machine comes with the ring. Place the ring on the lower head fully assembled. Make sure the ring is .002 below the table and run lntprdat program.
