    Heidenhain iTNC530 - getting started

Just got the offline iTNC530 up and running but have stalled straight away as can't see how to create a new program - see attached image - looks like I need to have the .H extension but can't figure out how to add that to the program name from the controller interface - there is no H button? any guidance gratefully recieved, Sean

Re: Heidenhain iTNC530 - getting started

Hi, You use a programming station for HEIDENHAIN ...
So, when creating the file must write file extension (XXX.H for HEIDENHAIN) for ISO will "XXX.I" ...
not look soft keys for letters (those you use on a physical keyboard) - unless you have attached the classic keyboard, use a virtual keyboard (on MS win ...)
once must choose a file name, you'll be prompted to select the units (mm / inch) and then she gave you continue (blockform, writing pgm ...)

If you get to write pgm question, write to me to be a private message ...
