Hello I am building a camera controller system and shall do a polygon line which I transform to g-code and then control a camera controller system via mach3. My problem is that I need a software that you can made 3D-polygons and then easy set the amount of vertexes. I think I remember that I did this for like 15 years ago in 3D studio: just created, for example, an helix and then just drag in a slider how many vertexes I wanted on the line. I have now tried to do the same thing in cinema 4D and maya but they don´t seem to work that way any longer. The reason that I need to do it this way is that every vertex will be one position for the camera/frame so if I want the camera to rotate around an object in 10 seconds and the end result will be in 24 fps then the path need to have exactly 240 vertexes. If some one know an solution for this pleas help me.
