    Changing Tools on Fadal VMC 4020

    Hello everybody,



    I have a Fadal VMC 4020 and when I command a Tool change, at the moment
    of releasing the tools, there is a big ''BANG''. And the end of the day,
    after few hours of non-stop work, the sound is worst ...



    Do you know if there is adjustement of anything else to do ?

    Sounds like the tool holders are sticking in the spindle - did the same on the 4020 here as well. Go through each tool in the ATC and polish off the end with scotch-brite to remove all the oils and coolant. Then lightly spray them with a teflon spray.
