Understanding correct motor parameters NCStudio Ver 5.5.60 mm/pulse

Ran further tests today. In the ArtCAM software I made a square 100mm and a circle 100mm dia = both files simulated correctly but when run they were 95mm

Doing a manual test on router - X axis from home (0,0) told it to go 650mm, it went 24in. It should have went 25.59in

X axis from home (0,0) told it to go 1300mm, it went 48in. It should have went 51.8in

Y axis from home(0,0) told it to go to 2500mm, it went 92.375in, it should have went 98.425in

Settings were changed from .003125 to

It sounds like your steps/unit settings are a little off. You need to increase the number of steps until the commanded position matches the position you actually reach. Make sure you move a little bit in the direction you're commanding the move you're measuring before commanding it, so you don't get confused by backlash.

they have use to be mm screws
and the 0.03125 should work with the 10 mm lead screw..

you might check on if any reason, you have inches screws in the machine

another cause if you have gears on the X and Y axis

then the 0.03125 wont work for you...
then you have to move the machine say 48 in and comparing with the value you see in ncstudio
you have to correct the values..

by the way, the 1325 type machines use to be rack n pinion.. so very possible that settings wont work for you
that is for 10 mm lead screw..

Tested multiple mm/pulse values and 0.0122 on X and Y work on manual tests and file tests. hopefully smooth sailing from here.
Thanks to all for your help.
