Hello,
I need help, I'm new in CNC system.
As I understood A06B-6055-H*** Unit are Model 8, right? and motors for this units are: A06B-1008-B200, A06B-1008-B100, A06B-0706-B001, A06B-0706-B002?
1) So can I use other motors? Or I should use only those specific motors?
2) What kind of CNC system need for this servo unit? is it Fanuc 10 Series?

it's possible to use another motor, but in this case you have to apply encoder for speed feedback
there are two pick-up sensors and gear with 256 or 512 (don't remember now) teeth on back side of motor's shaft, which produce SIN and COS signals, but I suppose you may use an ordinary encoder with corresponding number of pulses per turn
speed reference for that drive is analogue 10V or 12-bit, on this basis you can use it with different CNCs

So, I can use AC Servo Spindle Units with any CNC controller? Can I use with Fanuc 16M CNC controller?


Is it possible to tested Spindle Unit without CNC controller? I mean power UP and little turn motor with Analog I/O signals?

you can if your Fanuc 16M has DAC for spindle unit
it's possible to test spindle drive if you have encoder mounted on motor

take them, read and apply your knowledge and ask us specific questions - this way is free of charge
the another way pay money someone for solving problems
Fanuc is not a simple system, sorry
