    Wood relief software

I am building my machine currently and looking into software also. What I want to do is layering of relief art work to make one image to mill out, what software out there will allow for that? I know Artcam Pro and Aspire will do that but at $2000 that is out of my reach currently. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

Layer your artwork with free STL editor, then route it with FreeMill, which is, um, free. It is however a one-trick pony.
