way to tell if your machine is set up for "DOG LEGGING"?

have had a few collisions with some 3d programs lately, tool comes across and clips the machined area
plotting points shows theres noway It should touch but they sure do

1 suggestion is to checkand find out whether or not the machine is dog legging

it seems as though in rapid mode the machine is traveling faster in the x axis than y
how can I verify this setting on our vf6

Haas does have dogleg rapids. You need to set your CAD post to avoid interference or clear the tool before the move.

There is a setting on the newer (5 years) or so for dog leg or not. I had to set one of ours up to dog leg if the 4th axis was attached, since they had a software bug.
