    USB CNC motion controller board

Can anyone shed any light on these USB motion controllers 4-Axis Motion Control Card USB2.0 Interface, CNC MACH3 USB Card XHC-MK4 - See more at: 4-Axis Motion Control Card USB2.0 Interface, CNC MACH3 USB Card XHC-MK4 | Automation Technology Inc
I'm looking for good or bad reports from anyone who has tried one of these boards as they look half decent to me.
I have already done some google searches but did not come up with much , only reviews of their XHC Pendant for Mach3.
I also did not find it in the Mach3 plugins section.

    Thanks.

Re: USB CNC motion controller board

I just bought one from ebay and did not do proper investigation. I am trying to build my first cnc and I thought this would be a good board, but I am finding no reviews. It makes me nervous.

USB controllers are tricky. I bought one from eBay which looked promising but turned out to be crap. Just recently I bought a UC300 and I am convinced it will work well. I haven't really been using it yet for any real job but have tested it and the tests show VERY positive results. Will run it for real work later this week. Buying eBay USB controllers is a gamble. Some may work well but most don't.

I run two uc300's, They are great little boards, they just require the correct usb settings and providing that never seem to lose connection, Run the motors very smooth with a good buffer. And just enough inputs and analogue ports to make a fully fledged hard wired controller. Actually working on one i will be looking to manufacture, with axis selection, home, key jog and jog wheel, fro + sro, offset position, two macros buttons and dead man lever and opto isolation board designed to plug onto the uc300.
