    Okuma LB12 axis noise

    Hello

Every morning, after about 20 or 30minutes work, both axis servo motors starts to make terrible noisefor about few minutes. It looks like they
are going to stuck somewhere, loadmonitor also shows bigger load than normal. When I move x and z axismanually about 50% feed few minutes
back and foward the noise is goingaway. In the forum I can´t find nothind about similar. Everybodytalks only about thrust bearings but I belive this problem is not fromthese.
Have enybody ideas what would cause problem like that?

Could be the Turcite is worn causing the oil to wring out. Once you start moving it the oil film comes back. Could also be a capacitor not cycling correctly when cold in the drives. There are other possible causes, but im sure this is a 5000L-G with BL motors?

Thanks for answer. Lubricating system is OK, I have checed this several times. Machine has 500L-G control and BL motors.
How the bad capacitor could cause problem like this, there are two separate aplifiers for axes and bad noise on the same time both of them?

Lubrication system could be working 100% correct, but if the turcite is worn, won't matter. Some of those early machines had a separate 300vdc power supply for both drives. You never said on your first post what system you have.
