you can view the ladder by input "L" on password page but you can not edit
the password you obtain from the manufacturer of the machine
some machines has passworded ladder and the passwords are diferent.

    Re: fanuc tc ladder password

I did not know a password was needed, When does it ask you for this password?
I have a question of my own.
I have a FANUC O-TC. I have a copy of the ladder on paper and I could not see it on the screen when I tried to display it. I could not see the ladder until enabled the Ladder view by enabling bit #2 of 0060

The picture is what I get. There are no details for the ladder. Attachment 275594
Are there more Parameters I need so the details of the ladder display correctly or do I have another problem?
ALSO, The ladder on the screen is different to the ladder in my machine manual.

    Kind Regards,
    Chich

The display appears to be an incomplete?
Normally it displays as complete rungs.
It is possible it is different from the printed version if modifications have been done.
I have never see an incomplete display such as you show?
Can you page down to see more rungs?

    is not about ladder incomplete
    is about your monitor brightness
you have to open in the back of your monitor and try to adjust by the small resistors the brightness so you can see the rest of details or you have to change the display

in your picture are the lines acvtive and are the brightest so the rest of details are very low in brightness

    Thanks for the reply Al

    zavateandu,
Yes you were right!!!!! I removed my CRT monitor and found the "Brightness" pot on the base board. I adjusted it up and...........

The ladder simply looked different because I could only see part of it. It now displays as it should.

    Thanks to both of you,
    Chich
