I'm getting this error "218 chucking type not selected" when I start the machine and I don't know why and what should I do. I never worked with this machine so I would appreciate any help.

I have the same problem today on Mazak SQT-200MS.
Have you resolved this error ?
If yes could you say me how.

Hy,

Someone got rid of this alarm with the following solution:


"One of the guys asked what was behind the door on the left side of the control panel. When we opened it, to my surprise, there was the switch. I had to actuate it a couple of times, and open and close the chuck, but it finally figured out where the chuck was and now everything works." - He got rid of the alarm this way.


At my machine the door is on the right side of the control panel. I didn't try this solution yet because my machine is off.
