The spindle rotation is backwards now per the m3 m4 functions.
double checked wiring, can't find anything there.
is there a tweak I'm unaware of?

John, since the spindle motor is 3-phase, you should be able to just swap any two of its leads going to the VFD to change the direction of rotation.

You're welcome, John. Just for trivia, you can also change the rotation of a stepper motor by swapping the leads of one of its two coils...
