Yes, you can use ShopLink LOW COST Wireless for a bulletproof solution.

There is a serious weirdness in the Haas USB reading. After getting pissed and buying 12 different USB Thumb drives from Fry's (every model they had) I found only two that will work. I tried formatting the ones that wouldn't too, but the best I could get was for the Haas to think for 15 seconds THEN load the drive.

SanDisk Cruzer Glide 16GB is the best of the lot. I have 2 and they both work. I have several other SanDisk drives with "the same format" that don't work. Weird.

Did you format fat32 or NTFS or..? I've stuck several generic ones in the Haas's and all have worked.

What year is your Haas? I formatted FAT32, exFAT, and NTFS.

I was pretty frustrated that I had 3 USB drives and couldn't transfer a single file to my machine which was set up and wasting time unable to run.

Ended up going to Fry's and buying every single stick model they had because I was losing money

Hmmmm... any videos of it on a Haas USB? Does it access files from the device exactly as if there was a USB drive there with the file? That's damn cheap in the scheme of things. sure would be nice to go a day without keeping a USB in my pocket
