    Miyano BND Turret alignemnt Issue

    Hey!
I am having an issue with a Miyano BND-51SY2 lathe. Memory was cleared and reloaded. The turret aligns correctly, and ran through the first part of the program. But when it came to the live tool, I got a 439 alarm. Turns out the proper clamp point for the turret is misaligned with the live tool jaws. The live tool only lines up half way into the jaws. I have gone through the turret procedure, but no change. Am I missing something?

    Please help!

when you say 'memory was cleared and reloaded' do you mean the parameters were reloaded? if so then one of your parameters is wrong.
you may also need to do some kind of turret zeroing procedure, or live tool zeroing procedure.

Don`t if you have fixed the problem to reline the Turret. But the procedure to do it is as follows via parameters important to note original parameters before changing any.
Turn off parameter 8200 bit 0 to 0 which allows x and y to move together brings up 000 alarm power off then back again and rezero machine.
Should be able to move x and y on there own clock centre line of machine from clock on main spindle face or from clock held in Collet when Central note on Machine Position Page the Figure for example X -181.560 Y -79.500
Turn off parameter 1815 bit 4 to 0 both changes will bring up APC alarm.
Now by the hand wheel wind the X back in the + direction till if the travel from zero point to centre line is the example 180.000 the Machine Position Page reads +1.560 181.560-180.000 because it as go to far past the Centre line.
Now do the same for the Y wind by the Hand Wheel till on the Machine Position Page reads Y-000.500 if the Y axis travel is 80.000 it has not reached the 80.000 travel to the centre point.
Now turn the Parameter 1815 bit 4 to a 1 on both axis 000 alarm Power Off Machine should occur . Should any overtravel alarms occur expand Parameter 1320 positive direction and 1321 negative direction till no Alarms occur.
Switch the machine off and back on again and rezero the machine at 25% Rapid Feed Rate make sure the machine to machine is on Centre Line or do the adjustment again.
Put original Parameters into No 1320 and No 1321 if Changed and Turn Parameter 8200 bit 0 to a 1 Alarm 000 should occur .
Turn off Machine then back on again Should be O/K
