Woodpecker CNC Not Registering With Computer

    Hi guys,

My company just bought a Woodpecker CNC that had windows 2000 in Chinese and NcStudio in Chinese (version 4.xx) installed. The machine was registering and the motors were all working.

We installed Windows XP English on the CNC computer and installed a newer English version (8.299) of NcStudio and our machine is now not connecting anymore.

Does NcStudio software install the drivers necessary for the controller card or do we need to install the drivers separately? I have read to have the card removed during installation and then insert it after the installer shuts down the computer, but windows is saying that the card is uninstalled and we have no idea where to get the driver for it.

    Thanks for any help.

I can provide photos of the card and/or CNC if it helps. I sent WeiHong tech support a message so if they get back to me I'll add that here.

    Hey Amilton,

You have to install the drivers from your new software folder by updating the drivers of the board (Right click though Device manager and find the drivers by browsing: C; Programs Files, Ncstudio)

    Good luck!
