Hi,

I am completely new to CNC machining and I am currently setting up my 4-axis 6040 machine which I purchased from eBay for various hobbyist projects.
I intend to use MDF and soft ply for some v-carving and cutting out composite parts for small wood-work projects. I'd like to use Hard woods, plastics and maybe even aluminium eventually but wood is my priority for now.
I would be very grateful if someone could recommend a selection of wood bits that I could purchase to get me started.
I'd like a kit but the few I have seen are very expensive.
Would it be wise to stay clear of the cheap Chinese eBay bits? Is there much difference in quality?
How many I need/which should I get?

Thanks,
Kevin.
