Favorite website for hobby cnc building! Please List!

I am planning on building my first router cnc and then would like to convert and mini lathe to cnc. Waiting for money of course to drop out of the sky. In the meantime while waiting, I love to browse around and view sites on hobby cnc building. Please list your favorite sites for myself and for others to get ideas on where to go to find the equipment they need for the build. Thanks to all that respond!

Guys, I think northernmach was asking for sites other than " www.cnczone.com " for materials/ideas.

    Nice list, Switcher!

The Zone is my favorite. Google is my other favorite.

    For components:

See Classified Ads @ CNCZone & visit their web-sites.

e-bay (steppers, drivers, leadscrews, ballscrews, linear rails, etc.)

I went to the northern machine web-site link in your post, and was re-directed to a server to try to sell me high speed internet service when I closed the window.

It may be a fluke, but I do not appreciate it.

CJL5585, I appoligize for the re-direct on the website. I appreciate you bringing this to my attention. I believe it is with a traffic exchange program I am using on that website. I was unaware that, that is how the system worked. Please view again! There should be no more redirects. Sorry to all!

    Good Luck!

Folks post stuff, then they never return! Why bother posting? (Already did the PM, thing)
