cannot get corel draw measurements to match

Hello. We recently installed a new controller and two new stepper motors on our machine. We figured out some of the kinks and now our issue is that the measurements we put into corel draw are not matching with what is engraver. ex. in coral draw we enter to have a 6" x 6" box engraved and when we send it to the engraver it is engraver way past the box size we entered?? Does anyone know what we have to do to correct this issue?

Obviously, either the microstepping setting of your new controller or the step angle of your new motors are different from the old value. Recalculate and update your steps/mm setting in your controller software (Mach3 or equivalent) - see http://www.cnczone.com/forums/pcb-mi...ml#post1690708 for details about how to do that. Of course, you might want to leave the old setting as is and configure your new controller microstepping to match it instead - if your workpiece is larger than it should be the controller might be taking larger steps (= smaller microstepping number) than the old one, and that might be undesirable.

That depends on your specific make and model of driver board, you should have received instructions on how to do that along with the board itself; but if it is settable at all, it's usually done through small DIP switches on the PCB or removable jumpers on pin headers.
