Need some advice on cutting c276

everyone says its like hastelloy, I never have cut either
    but its nasty

using iscars 806 cnmg432 it makes a good pass but it don't last for more than 2 passes, because when It gets back to the shoulder, the radius left from thelast pass hits hard and chips above the corner, weakening it,
at .125 and .1 doc it pushs a burr that rubs and cracks the upper side of the insert, in the same area that the shoulder hits, so its getting beatup in more than one spot

so ive tried it at 135sfm and 100sfm seems to work best,
I also tried to get around that shoulder issue by facing it 7.8 to 7. and it doesn't have as MUCH of the shoulder issue, but after a few passes the there is cracking on the insert where it meets the radius of the previous pass

any ideas, or techniques you could share, its on a puma, low gear, using hard jaws

    thanks in advance

the 100 degree worked extremely well

but I only had sadvic 643, but I was able to take off .5 of material in 2 passes, I edge per pass, wasn't beat up at all really after the pass
and pushs the burr forward, wish we had a boring bar with that angle cause I got way more on the inside to take off than the outside

    thanks alot

Sandvik has a special insert with 45 deg instead of rad.
    It works good for I'd.
Ask for CNMG with 45 deg

    ok another question

what did you do once you did all the roughing you could with those angled tools?
because I have the iscar 806 grade but the same problem occurs, the corner is fine but the burr digs away at the middle of the insert and its done pretty quick

im thinking to try and program semi rough passes at angles and see how that works

Changing your tool path to avoid hitting shoulder would help.
