everyone says its like hastelloy, I never have cut either
but its nasty
using iscars 806 cnmg432 it makes a good pass but it don't last for more than 2 passes, because when It gets back to the shoulder, the radius left from thelast pass hits hard and chips above the corner, weakening it,
at .125 and .1 doc it pushs a burr that rubs and cracks the upper side of the insert, in the same area that the shoulder hits, so its getting beatup in more than one spot
so ive tried it at 135sfm and 100sfm seems to work best,
I also tried to get around that shoulder issue by facing it 7.8 to 7. and it doesn't have as MUCH of the shoulder issue, but after a few passes the there is cracking on the insert where it meets the radius of the previous pass
any ideas, or techniques you could share, its on a puma, low gear, using hard jaws
thanks in advance
