Hello

Finally got the laser, but seems i messed up and got the one with smaller cutting area. i though i ordered the one with the 300x200mm cutting area, but it seems the specs say 260x220mm. But the actual cutting area where i can place something to cut, is much smaller. Something like 210x150mm.

What is the actual difference between these machines, seems the lens assembly can move over about 300x200mm area. What is the limiting factor here? And can i make this a 300x200mm, as the current cutting are is just too small for my purposes.

Actually, when i got the software up & running... i seems i can do at least 300x200mm... it's just the material holder that seems to be small. Don't know why it's so small..

Seem the laser can hit even the air outlet, and the software can command it outside of the possible movable area, and makes a horrible noise. So just need to be careful & build a larger better material holder.

But why they would advertise this as having a smaller possible cutting area than it has? I do not know.

So i don't think this is not a problem, just though i had messed up the only thing i was checking when i was buying this ; "buy the one with the larger cutting are" and i messed that up. Pretty lame

I assume i can adjust the correct max size from here, so it does not hit the sides or the air outlet:



Ps. Seems i can get about 300x225mm out of this, so i'm happy.

But what is this "running-in adjusment" ?

And how do i know things, like what model is my mainboard.. there seems to be no model number on it. At least nothing that comes close to the available alternatives.

Now the numbers make more sense, as the speeds can go up to 400mm/sec.
