    Z70 Abs posn error(servo alm 25) 0101 x z

    Hi,

Sorry, newbie here. I have mitsubishi m70 controller. It gives an error, saying : "Z70 Abs posn error(servo alm 25) 0101 x z". I read the manual and found that i need to redo the zero point initialization. But i could not figure out how to do that. Can somebody help me? thanks.

Btw the cnc havent been use for over a year, Could it be hardware problem? thanks

Dont know much about the mitsubishi controls but, i would guess that you also need to install a new backup battery for the encoder.

Create a user account on the Mitsubishi site. After you have an account go to "support" then "knowledge base" and then search "M50 Teaching Absolute Position for DoglessType"
That's for the M50. They also have a maintenance manual available on the site for M70..search for "M700 M70 Maintenance manual"
It's really simple to make an account. They don't blast you with questions.
