    Angry dm542 microstepper

    using the 255 motor and m542 driver and a 5tpi, leadscrew, what are the best dip settings for this set up? I have spent the past three weeks trying combinations of step resolution and current selections and cannot find the right settings.

    Please, Please, Please give me the SW1,SW2,SW3,SW4,SW5,SW6,SW7,SW8 settings for this driver. The company Motiontek.ca is not helping me even though they sold me the drivers and put together control boxes for sale.

    What is your experience with dm542? Is it a good alternative to Gecko? I´m thinking about buying these drivers and need to know how they perform.

    Six years after the last post on this thread?You might try looking on youtube for builds which have used these drivers,or those closely resembling them.
