    G540..Stupid fuse wiring question?

I'm trying to find out where to put the fuse holder for the G540. Right now I have it between the G540 and the power supply. I've read that it goes between the AC input and the power supply, but that doesn't seem like it would protect the Gecko. Or do I have the wrong idea and it's supposed to protect the entire unit?(between AC input and power supply) Also what is the correct amperage fuse that I use? Thank in advance.

Does anyone know this or is it such a dumb question that nobody wants to answer. I'm just trying not to fry my G540. 110 Views, no replies. Thanks

Hey Adam, Yep, yes and Yeah. we are all pretty shy.
Check with the mob you bought your gear from.
A "spec" sheet is another way to get an answer.
    I googled this. http://www.geckodrive.com/support/mo...540-rev-8.html
Now, I'm not going to read this for you, but just quickly there seem to a few '(Do's and Don'ts).
Of the top of my head, what you read, seems to be correct. Fuse the AC I/P.
    Luck with it mate,
