I have a very strong memory of a thread here regarding an interlock to ensure that the PDB wasn't activated if the spindle was still turning. I can't find the thread and my PDB is supposed to arrive Monday. Can anyone provide a link to the original discussion and/or thoughts on implementation?

I had big problems with this as I dont have the ATC, all that was needed was a telephone cord.

The ATC kit comes with this cord to enable this safety feature.

There was not one available from Tormach at that time for the PDB.

Turbo Step explained it really well, the telephone cord needed is the one with the red and black wires in it, the other configurations wont work. The install instructions for the ATC explain in detail how to connect it as I recall.

With the cord connected, you have an interlock with the PDB, this has saved many many crashes here!!
