Need help , in my lb15 bubble memory board dead, so i get another one from plc centre, and i m not sure how to load system software from floppy drive , i read maintenance manual and attempt to load i connect floppy drive and tape reader as manual say i have 3 floppy discs 1 is initialization and another 2 discs is the control software, and when i put initialization disc first i can type some commands on the control but nothing happen, when i try install another system disc i get error on screen 2004 bubble memory ib error 00003210 , so i don't know its bubble memory faulty again , or i need to do something else eg. enable something like switch, or jumper on the board , or type some commands in the control before loading, maintenance manual not say a lot about loading software, so anybody know how to load system ?

Sould just put in in load mode, insert disk and press the sys load button.

Hello. im new in this page.

I have the same problem but in a LC 40 OKUMA machine, in my case the screen shows that the floppy start with the load of the documents, but in the middle of the process goes wrong and shows a problem with the floppy drive.

if you can get the solution please let me know.

in your case it sounds like the floppy disk is bad. thats not surprising since it is probably 25-30+ years old....
