sudden loss of cutting power on 90W Reci

I have a 90W Reci tube Chinese machine that I just got in a few weeks ago. Hasnt been used very much, less than 10 hours so far..but Ive been cutting 3mm ply today. Got through a few orders and all of a sudden it would no longer cut through at the settings I had been using all day. speed 28 / Power was 80/65 ,and the meter around 28ma .
all I did was change wood ,been cutting the same patterns most of the morning.
Now I cant even cut through at 5 speed and 100% power. doesnt make sense why the sudden change without doing anything...but checked the mirrors anyway still good. meters still reading around 28ma ...any ideas?

A mirror or lens broke or got real dirty or just got knocked out of alignment. If the tube is working its optics

Also check for wood pitch buildup in the opening of the lens nozzle if you have one

24 ma seems like a lot of power to not cut. Depending on the plywood I can cut 3mm at 15.
Make some wood disks cut to the mirror diameter. Replace the mirror closest to the tube and test fire for a couple seconds. You can get a good feel for the beam strength and alignment by looking at the pattern. Test fire at an engrave power of around 4ma. Work thru all three mirrors. Shield your eyes when test firing. It takes a fraction of a degree to make it seem like it has no power

You can take short video to your supplier to confirm if tube is bad or not. Reci laser tube recent time, not stable.

Hi, It looks like the tube is broken. Just take a video to show to Reci. Reci has sample video to confirm if the tube is bad. Please contact your supplier for that. After confirmed, then a good tube will be sent to you for free.
