I was curious if anyone happened to have a Solidworks drawing of a G0704 head assembly before I started to draft one up.
Thanks in advance,
Zach

Got it from your GrabCAD, thank you!
No problem mate
onocyclone,
Unless there's another link somewhere the download I made from GrabCAD was only the mill assembly and the spindle, none of the supporting drawings. Do you have the head drawings?
Open the head of the machine in the assembly into a different window and save it as your own. Open up a new drawing and call in that part. You can then make your own drawing. What you could do is in the 3D part select the DimXpert tab and select auto dimension scheme. This will dimension everything. Screen shot this in the orientation you need and that's all you need hope this helps
onocyclone,
Please forgive, as I'm still learning Solidworks, however the grabcad file only had the 5 following files:
AMA25LV CNC Machine Project.SLDASM
Assembled Spindle.SLDASM
Machine spindle 1 1 inner.SLDPRT
Machine spindle outer.SLDPRT
Renderings folder
I can open the AMA25LV CNC Machine Project.SLDASM however since it does not have any of the supporting files, i.e. the column, it wants me to browse to find the file (not there) or Suppress themt. Like this (not actually a screen shot from this particular assembly drawing).
Is it just simply that the files are missing, or is the issue with me personally?

I'll update it later, seems people are all having issues. There are lots of parts !
