The mount for the laser and laser driver are done. After a talk with Ahren at CNCRP the XML file should be set right. Big moment came. Turned on MACH3 with the laser profile, powered up the driver for the laser and used the MDI to set power and turn on the laser. Nothing. So now it's trouble shooting time.

It works. The laser fires now. When I get a chance I'll post images of the set up.

I had a bit of an issue when I first installed my 2.8 watt laser from j. Turned out I had to ground the signal wire ground directly to the break out board ground of the A axis that I set to control the laser.
All works very well for a 2.8 watt laser.
