    Fadal VMC 3020 Advice

    Hi.

First post here on your great forum.
I run a small shop, and now I am thinking about getting a machiningcenter.
I have found a used machine that I find interesting, but I have no experience with it.
Anny of you want to say some words about it?

It is a 2001 Fadal MVC 3020, with Fadal CNC 32 MP control.
    It has runned 1000 hours.

    Thank you.

    Anders

    3020 Real Nice

I have posted about my performance series Fadal's before on this board. You might wan't to try a serch. These are verry solid 40 taper machines. If you work in Titaninum or other hard to machine materials you will get better results and tool life with this heavy box way machine. In easy to machine materials I don't see much improvment over a standard box-way machine. The side arm tool changer is fast and can pre stage a tool while the machine is running. Real nice if you skip around alot on your tool sequence.
