Hello,
Before I try to re-invent the wheel. Has anyone come up with a simple way to put a double 45 degree bevel on the edge of mild steel angle iron to accommodate v-rollers.
Thank you,
Tom

DO SOMETHING, EVEN IF IT'S WRONG!
How bout a 45° face milling cutter in a Bridgeport and make 2 passes?
I assume that you want to run the bearings on the edge of the angle iron. Ynneb just runs his on the virgin steel. He claims that once the rails "wear in" (roll form there own 45 deg) there is nearly no wear on them. Just remember to adjust the bottom keeper bearings periodicaly. Just stick with 1/8" angle and you shouls be fine.
On all equipment there are 2 levers...
Lever "A", and Lever F'in "B"
