Loosing tool number when selecting tool. SC9

I built a tool library according to the you tube tutorial. I select Roughing/Waterline then go in to the parameters. when I select the tool from my library by double clicking on it, it brings up all the info except it keeps the tool number at 1 and the length correction at 1. I have to manually change it back to the correct tool number ie.15 which also changes the length correction. I know it's not that big of a deal, but its something I am apt to forget to do which could cause a crash later. what am I doing wrong?

Is the "Use the library as the store" checkbox in the "Library selection" tab in the Tool settings dialog set?

My tool library selection dialog tab has the setting "use tool number from library" checked
This can also set under machine parameters work with tools section "use tool number from library"

I have never noticed this option "Use the library as the store" , step has a different install or version then me

    hope this helps

Hi MD, I was surprised too! In SC7 its in the same place but with a different text. I just checked the machine parameters route in SC9 and shows the same as SC7! The affect appears to be the same...

Thanks for the help. This easily corrected my issue. 1 problem down, about 10,000 to go. Haha!
