Hi - hope someone can help.

I purchased a 50w Shenhui 350 / G350D laser engraver from china a few months again and has been working great.

Until now - I turned it on and it looked like it was engraving however the laser was not firing, so nothing has actually engraved and there is a cracking sound from the back right of the machine - maybe from the laser tube. The only way to stop it is to emergency stop on the machine

I have checked the laser tube and all looks fine - no cracks etc, apart from there is a water bubble on the far right of the end of tube as you look at it - I have attached a pic so you can see what i mean.

I have contacted the company however but they are not being very helpful - does anyone have any ideas what it could be or any tests I can do to check what is wrong or even how to fix it

Make sure the connection points on the laser for the power are the furthest they can be from the metal work of the case. I rotated my tube once to make it easier to get the air out and it ended up arcing to the case

Hi, my friend

The problem is the tube , please clean the "+ "side of the tube ,and the side of the machine shell .
if still can not solve , you need to change a tube .

i can supply 700mm 800mm 845mm 1000mm co2 laser tube for the small machine .
