    Hurco purchases Milltronics

    I thought everybody might be interested:

    Wow, didn't see that coming. So why? Hurco didn't have a dealer here until recently and it is a different one that sells Milltronics. Could get interesting.

    Does anyone know the status of this. There doesn't seem to be any mention of this on either of website other than the original notice from Hurco 3 months ago. Our local Milltronics dealer rep came by the other day and had no clue what was going on.

    Rumor has it they are making all the Milltronics staff re-ally for their positions. What an ordeal!:drowning:
    We have had good luck with our Fadals milling mostly soft steel and aluminum up to 5 axis. We are always looking for spare parts If you have a broken down Fadal give a shout.

    I speak with these people almost every day. They tell me that while have been a few changes (as expected), it is mostly business-as-usual.

    Milltronics has asked their dealers to make the contact the users with any news; you will probably not hear from Milltronics directly.

    One good-news change for us is that they will sell parts and repairs directly to users again.
