Hi Guys ....
I have a slight problem .
I have an Ikegai with a fanuc 6tb control .
Problem is sometimes i make a mistake with my G50 AND G27 co-ordinates .
So the machine goes home after on the G27 command but lest say my Z value is not the same as the Z on the G50 then the machine gives me an alarm (All good)
So i change the value and make sure they are the same as the G50 values ...ok fine .

PROBLEM is that now the machine ISNT actually home anymore so if the tool is now 50mm forward and i cycle start SMASH ...OR CRASH !!!

I have a Wasino with a 6t control aswell and that lathe wont run a program unless the machine is at home !

I was wondering if any of you know about a parameter that i could change on the Ikegai so that it works the same as the Wasino .

Im sure there is a prameter because the Wasino doesnt allow me to use G28 .

Please guys any info would be appreciated ...ive scrapped 2 parts in 2 days and its costing me a few bucks now .

Im not too bothered about using G28 i just want to make sure the machine is home before any program will run ...if possible .

G28 U0.0 W0.0 works when you want to send the turret home and its slightly easier than G27
