    DMC 635 - PLC error - Hopper did not reach magazine position! Initiators defective

    Mori Seiki - DMC 635 - running Sinumerik 840d

    PLC error - "Hopper did not reach magazine position! Initiators defective, outputs not enabled, etc."

    Was executing a program, and about 40 parts in, this error came up and the machine stopped running the program.

    Figured out the problem was that the tool change did not finish and the tool is stuck in horizontal position in the slot where tools are supposed to be called from and into the magazine.

    Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Fixed, thank you. Had to replace a physical part in the machine, there was a problem with the sensors.
