I have a brigeport interact 1 mk 2 milling machine with a heidenhain 2500 controll and the back up battery went flat while on holidays unfotunately we had no parremeters sheet with machine and lost every thing the nc software number is 243000/12 plc software number is 250144/ 03 could some one please assist me with parremeter sheets if possible thank you.

You can download a technical manual for the control from www.heidenhain.de
This will explain what each parameter does and the range it can be set within.If you have some experience of machine controls it is possible with a bit of thought to get the machine running and carefully go through the movements and adjust the parameters to suit your machine.The plc parameters on this machine should be on eprom so you should not have lost them.If you have,the manual explains how to reload them from the eprom.The Bridgeport does not use a lot of parameters so it will take some time but not as bad as some machines I have worked on.

I also have the same machine. I can send you my parameters also if someone could tell me how to backup the parameters from my machine first. Machine is connected to a computer via serial cable.

MOD key to CODE=
Code= 95148 This displays the parameters.
EXT key. It will ask: read in parameters?
NOENT key and they get dumped out.

the battery,wiring and all is good bat a green LED in motherboard flaching
If entered all the parameters by hands,when i restart the machine,there is no parameter

What do you do when you enter the last parameter?
Are you entering the parameters manually?
Do you mean that the control asks you to re-enter the parameters after a shutdown or right after you have entered the last one?
If it works ok until you shut down,it is usually corrosion on the inner battery holder terminal.

If anybody needs a full set of the Heidenhain TNC 2500 parameters I have now got them , and those that dont know yet , if you have a Heidenhain from the 90,s then look after your batteries !!!!!
