You can contact FIVES company at 800-934-0735 and order the windows NT 4.0 service pack 6 with the MAI and the M!Y.**** file. You may need help with the install and setup of the machine. DID YOU BACK UP ALL OF YOUR FILES PRIOR TO THE HARD DRIVE CRASH ???? Give us a call.

i have found a backup of the software! can you advise how to properly convert from an IDE hard drive to a compact flash solid state drive?
I have had good luck with the Logicube OmniClone 5 U industrial grade hard drive duplicator.
Ebay has them.
I am interested in hardware specifics. is there a certain type of compact flash card to use for best results? what are the flash card capacity limitations that the control pc will recognize? what about the IDE to compact flash adaptor? is there a best brand or type?
i have seen a seller online who is selling these setups but i am poor and would like to configure my own to pinch some pennies.
2 Gig seems to work best. I used solid state hard drives, not flash cards. The adapters are hit and miss. Best is an IDE SSHD.
ifixcnc, do you know what capacities the acramatic control pc will recognize? isn't there a limit to how large a drive you can connect to them? I am curious why do you say 2gb works best? have you had problems with a 1gb? I like your recommendation of an ide drive instead of a flash card.
2gb or under is fine. I find the 2gb are easy to find and work well.
Sorry for posting in this old topic, has someone a backup of acramatic 2100 for arrow 750?
