Firstly I'd like to say ANY help on this matter is much appreciated.

I can't seem to run any programs lately, throwing a soft limit over-travel warning (- direction) on the Y axis half way through every time. In the system parameters I did notice all axis except the Y are set at 2000 ppr, the Y is at 4000. So far so good, and things are starting to add up to this being my problem. Until I get into the parameters menu, make the appropriate changes and try to save. A warning comes up saying 'these are not default settings' and reverts back to previous settings.

Can anyone confirm weather this should be 2000 ppr as I suspect? Also, any suggestions as to how I can make this change stick.

Managed to get the 2000 ppr to stick today using Caprirs method. Doing this caused an encoder reading warning so I am figuring 4000 ppr must be correct. Doesn't put me any closer to fixing the problem tho...
