Our Fanuc 15M is controlling a Niigata Horizontal CNC. When the machine is powered and homed the Absolute shows X 0.0 Y0.0 Z 0.0. When a G91 G28 Y 0.0 Command is given in MDI or in the program, the machine goes to home but the Y Absolute value grows by the distance that I am away from home. Then the machine crashes if it runs any program. It is only happening in the Y.
We have changed the Y axis encoder cable and it is still doing this.

This ended up being a parameter in the machine that was turned on on an off shift. :tired:
