Hi,

Not sure if this is the right place for this but I'm looking to retrofit a Chevalier LathePlus with a Anilam 1200T control. Any suggestions?
Has anyone used CS Labs CNC products? Their prices are really reasonable but "you get what you pay for".

Any and all advise would be much appreciated!!

Is the Controller not working? the Anilam 1200T doesn't seem that old. My only experience with retrofitting is Centroid. Which i'm perfectly happy with. I feel its your best Bang for the buck.

I got the machine working again with the Anilam control. Anilam has a battery powered chip on the board called a Dallas chip instead of a replaceable battery. So to fix the board you have to unsolder the old chip and install a new one. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and in my case it didn't but was able to buy a reconditioned board and am now up and running so the retrofit will be tabled for now until the next ???????
