[Darth Yoda]

I recently loaded a SAT file into X9. It came in OK but when I click a line the whole surface is selected. How can I choose a single line?
Also how can I change it from wire frame to solid?

its quiet okay to use sat files..
if model is okay it should be possible to read it as solid.
if not it will create a surface model you can everytime create the boundarycurves on your own
use CREATE/ Curves/Surface
there you have a choice to create it at only one side you picked or completly
otherwise you can read it out in an other format and reread it ( e.g. Step) or just let mastercam do the job
under SOLIDS you can sew model together as an solid
there are many options you can use as you can see...
did you had a view @ options of sat reader? if it shoudl read file as surface or solidmodel?
