Picking up a second machine, I am going to be milling a lot of composites G-10, CF, Wood.

My plan is to build a fully sealed enclosure hooked up to a Dust collection system along with a Dust boot. I am planning on putting the Dust collector in a separate room/outside shack to vent to the outside as to not circulate dust in my shop.

Anyone ever do anything like this?

I mill graphite electrodes and the stuff is horrible in every way shape and form. This is what I have rigged up to deal with the stuff. I hope you can make sense of it. The pvc is piped outside where I hook the vacuum to it.

That makes perfect sense. I like it. I need to do it on the full machine and have some sort of high suction right on next to the tool. using up more of the travel than you are. I like that idea a lot though! thanks!

Wow, I have never seen a mill so clean, especially one that has been used to cut before! =)
