Hi,
Here is the picture of 150usd injection machine. Other machines are low cost hydraulic injection machines. The machine with manual handel is the one 150usd. Also temperature controller is not included in it.

Ahmed,
I have been in too many injection molding plants to count, but have never seen anything as basic as yours. What is the maximum pressure you get from the manual machine? How much detail is in the parts? Can you post some pictures of parts that you have done?
Steve
simplicity is a beautiful thing.
could you illustrate more were the plastic is actually injected and also were it is heated.
the pictures are very nice but other than the hydraulics and mold cavity, I don't recognize anything.
thanks

Yes please, more info would be great. Did this cost $150 to make or was it bought? Where is the plastic heated?

(Note: The opinions expressed in this post are my own and are not necessarily those of CNCzone and its management)
The $150usd is great deal for simple, low quantity moldings with easy flow plastics.
It looks like the plastic pellets are inserted into the funnel shaped portion about 1/2 way up the vertical section.
Right below the funnel and blue colored mount are 2 heater bands.
Ahmed mentioned that there are no heater controllers included in the $150 price.
You have to buy them (2) extra.
Those will probably cost as much as the machine
(assuming you get a "good deal" on ebay)
I guess the "maximum" injection pressure you could get would depend on how hard you pull on the large 3-spoke handle at the top - or until something bends or breaks.
Probably would work ok on high melt flow polyethylene or polypropylene but not the likes of polycarbonate.
The price is sure right -if the shipping stays low enough.

Looks pretty cool.
Just the stuff you mentioned made the pictures a whole lot clearer!
maybe Ahmed could sell the temperature controlers as part of an add on or upgrade.
thanks

Heaters are 20usd and temperature controller is 25usd. Explanation given by Pres is perfect (thanks Pres).
The machine can be disassembled in kit form and shipped.
Ahmed
I would be very interested in finding out the shipping cost for one of these.
I am in orange county California and hopefully the Gov. won't come knocking on my door!
thanks

Eeek!! Is that galvanized pipe fitting for the hydraulics? Or heavy wall copper brazed??
Other then that... Me want...
what is wrong with pipe fittings? Do they lack the pressure rating? (i know they tend to leak)
thanks
Michael T.

Galvanized pipe should never be used with hydrauic oil. Black pipe only. And Sch 80 is usually used (I think, its been a while since I worked on hydrauics)
hydraulic and galvanized don't get along well I guess?
thanks

Well the machines are used with galvanized pipe for many years and we did not find any problem. You can use the pipe you like.
Cheers

Any idea how much this would cost to ship to the states? Me want too.
ahmedrehan: Can you post some pictures of parts that you have done.
Ok, so how do I go about buying one of the 150 usd machines with the heater controllers? What are the shipping costs? Thanks.
