    Techno hds cnc router

    Hello

Today what happen i fixed mdf piece with out any nails and screws on hds router.

I fixed the work piece just by fixing mdf strips with nails on all 4 sides and push inside the work piece.

And start the router to work unfortunately the work piece came up and moving with the spindle movement.

Then.what happens the spindle goes up and came to next position to cut this time the work.piece is overlaped the mdf strip and.now the work piece height more than the defined in the z exis offest.

Now the bad part the spindle goes.down to cut because the work.piece height increased the collet is also going cutting / rubbing with the piece and cuting the mdf work piece.
This happens max 5 to 10 sec.
When i saw this happing i run and stop the machine.
The collect go 3 mm deep in the mdf.

I realize that may be the spindle stops when this happens due to the collet rubbing the work.piece due to load.

Does this possible that a 9kw spindle stop by this way due to overload.

Or their is any protection on the spindle or delra vfd.

The other thing need to know that inside hsd spindle their is copper winding like other motor or some thing else which will not burn like induction motors.

So, the spindle isn't working now, after resetting anything that might need resetting? To be honest, a 9kw spindle probably could happily try to route wood with a collet nut without overloading...it's very powerful. The Z motor, in a well designed system (and Techno is chinese system with some western know-how added in), should have had a torque overload from trying to get into solid wood....that might have tripped a machine enable of some sort too. I've done this in plastic with a spindle half as powerful but never any permanent damage.

    You've called techno?

I've seen a collet happily grind it's way through MDF without the spindle stopping.

The 9kw spindle on 9000 rpm and ita go 3mm deeper in mdf.

Lots of smoke around beacuse collet rubbing with mdf.

How much kw spindle which you see doing this.

    Thank u

About the same size spindle. Be careful as this can cause a fire very quickly. These spindles are very powerful and difficult to stop
