    Fanuc 21t mem.card slot

Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a PCMCIA slot adaptor that I can just plug my flash drive into the other end?

Those kinds of adapters are available, but as far as I know you can't load the necessary device drivers into the Fanuc control to make it work. I suggest that you just buy the SRAM card and get it over with.

Fanuc sells one that will use a compact flash card. They were here 2 weeks ago and showed it to us.

You can use any compact flash adaptor (no need to buy from fanuc), but you are better off going for a better quality one. The cheap $5 ones on Ebay will sometimes give problems. I would be interested to know if anyone has used a microdrive/CFA combination. I don't know if it actually works, athough I believe it should work provided the microdrive is CFII compatible.

I bought my PCMCIA/flash card adaptor at Best Buy, and it works great.
